John Eichhorn Music Bio, EPK
John's wild aesthetic for Indie Rock and Shoegaze type music started as a self taught
multi-instrumentalist who has now completed a profoundly prolific decade on the road
writing & recording over 100 songs, freelance event producing and tour managing close to
200 shows, internationally traveling while spending time in around 40 cities, and has
also found himself inside the Los Angeles wasteland for a few years curating half a dozen
monthly residencies and working as head booking agent at the Whisky A Go Go on the West
Hollywood Sunset Strip. He's done a considerable amount of festival work among some like California's Coachella and ACL Fest in Austin Texas along with his own showcases at SXSW and L.A.'s Echo Park Rising Festival.
Recently, John has enjoyed lots of performing and playing shows throughout the U.S. with
a whole slew of weekend tours, a week long tour, and a three week national tour containing
19 shows in 19 days. After previous years of only recording around various apartments,
the first year alone was filled with 67 shows, which had a few months that had 12 shows
in each, and 3 interviews; once for the Columbus Alive.
The 4 song EP, Shadow, with heavily altered 4, 5, & 6 string tunings was soley engineered
across nine cities: Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Naples Italy, NYC, Monterrey NL,
Tijuana BC, Las Vegas, Barcelona Spain, and Mexico City.
